Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

# 1 lb ground lamb
# 2 eggs, beaten
# 2 T ground cornmeal
# ¼ cup ground Pecorino Romano cheese
# ¼ cup fine bread crumbs
# 1/3 cup sour cream
# 2 T chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
# 1 T paprika powder
# ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions


Combine all ingredients and shape into golf-ball size meatballs.

Coat with olive oil and bake in an uncovered casserole dish for at 350°F for about 45 minutes.

Serve with hot buttered pasta noodles with freshly grated nutmeg.
